Purpose
The product is used in power systems below 35KV and is suitable for urban substations with high fire prevention requirements, electromagnetic interference requirements, and limited installation sites such as electrified railways, metallurgy, chemicals, and petroleum. When AC asynchronous motors are started at rated voltage, the initial starting current often exceeds many times the rated current (usually 5-8 times). In order to reduce the starting current and not affect the power grid, the method of starting AC asynchronous motors by lowering the voltage is usually used. The commonly used method is to use reactors or autotransformers. The starting process of AC motors is very short (usually several seconds to two minutes), and after starting, the voltage reducing starting reactor or autotransformer is cut off. This product is designed based on the starting characteristics of high-voltage asynchronous motors, with a common motor power range of 220-4800KW.
