Working principle
High voltage autotransformer voltage reducing starting cabinet is one of the traditional methods for motor voltage reducing starting, and it is also the starting method with the maximum starting torque at the same terminal voltage; The working principle is to reduce the motor terminal voltage through different tap ratios of the autotransformer, in order to reduce the starting current of the motor and achieve high-voltage motor starting.
Mainly applicable for the control and protection of the starting and stopping of squirrel cage asynchronous and synchronous motors.
